The SOCATA TBM is a French civil utility airplane manufactured by SOCATA (now Daher).

Summary

“ When it first took flight from Tarbes, France in 2016, the Daher TBM 930 took a spot alongside its 2-year-old family member, the TBM 900, as the world's fastest certified single-engine turboprop.

Mechanically identical to the 900, the 930 features the same Pratt & Whitney PT6A-66D engine, in-house-designed winglets, redesigned air intake and five-blade Hartzell-built propeller, each component geared toward improving power, speed, aerodynamics and handling.

Sim Update X (SU10) (2022-09-20):
  • Fixed glideslope PID for better glideslope following
  • Panel light knob does not change screens brightness anymore

  • Fixed inconsistency between overspeed stripe on PFD and backup display

Update 5 (2020-10-29):

  • Improved sensitivity and twitchiness of control surfaces
  • Improved autopilot behavior for pitch management, altitude capture and stability

World Update I: Japan (WU1) (2020-09-29):

  • Fixed fuel tank incorrect tooltip

Patch 1.8.3.0 (2020-09-16):

  • Yaw damper is now automatically turned on when the AP is enabled
  • PT6 engines shutdown duration has been increased

Patch 1.7.14.0 (2020-09-02):

  • The title will no longer crash when the Daher TBM 930 package is deleted

Closed beta (2020-07-28):

Alpha 5 (2020-06-11)

  • Engine torque adjustments made
  • The radio altimeter would continue to give indications regardless of the set bank angle
  • You are now able to tune the NAV Radios using the touch screen
  • The NAV screen sometimes showed flight plan errors and artifacts, improvements have been made here
  • The tuned VOR was not giving a bearing
  • Checklist issue: Prop RPM and TRQ was not achieving goals
  • The engine was not turning off because the throttle was not reaching the Cut Off position

Alpha 4 (2020-06-11):

  • Received a complete pass based on user feedback and improvements from our backlog

Alpha 3 (2020-05-14):

  • Can now teleport when full of fuel
  • Tuned to address too much power at idle
  • FLC button now activates FLC mode instead of ALT mode in the TBM 930
  • No longer difficult to fly with FSX flight model
  • Reverse thrust now works above 30 kts
  • VS dial is no longer reversed
  • Known issue: engine shuts down after a teleport

Alpha 2 (2020-04-01):
