FS2020: Marketplace
The Marketplace in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) is an in-sim store which allows for the purchase and fully automatic download/installation of new content. The developer, Asobo Studios, offers some content for sale in this store, though most available content is added by approved third-party creators.
Types of content
Third-party content consists of several different categories and has been separated into individual pages for ease of browsing. The following pages only list content which already have associated articles.

- The Marketplace is now accessible directly from a dedicated widget in the main menu

World Update I: Japan (WU1) (2020-09-29):
- Average rating has been fine-tuned for more accuracy
- 3rd party filter is now sorted alphabetically
- Improved notification system for content bought outside of the marketplace existing in the Community folder
- Version history is now available when an item is patched
- The content manager button in the marketplace will redirect to the corresponding addon content
Patch 1.8.3.0 (2020-09-16):
- Filters and sorting have been improved in the marketplace
- Rating display on bundles has been improved.
- Performance drop after downloading an item in marketplace has been removed.
- An addon purchased outside of the marketplace no longer has an impact on the "Installed" filter in the marketplace as it is considered as a "community" content.
- Addons purchased outside of the marketplace now also visible in the Content manager when online, and offline if downloaded in the community folder.
Patch 1.7.14.0 (2020-09-02):
- The correct currency is now properly updated in the marketplace
