The Cessna Citation Longitude is a light business jet manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., formerly Cessna Aircraft Company.

Summary

“ Originally announced in 2012 under the Textron Aviation banner, the Cessna Citation Longitude had its first flight in 2016, and became a soaring entry in the crowded super-midsize business jet market in the autumn of 2019.

Built in Textron's Wichita, Kansas facility, the Longitude is a derivation of Cessna's smaller Latitude, utilizing the same clean-sheet fuselage cross-section as its sibling bizjet, with an additional row, an all-new "gently swept" wing with winglets, and T-tail empennage.

While business passengers will enjoy a smooth ride in a board-room size cabin, pilots up front are treated to a high-tech cockpit created around the Garmin G5000 flight deck, a touchscreen-controlled integrated avionics suite complete with heads-up display, enhanced-vision capability, and real-time system diagnostics.

Powered by a pair of Honeywell FADEC-equipped HTF7700L turbofans, including fully-integrated autothrottles as well as flight envelope protection, the Longitude sees reduced fuel burn and operating costs – making this Citation a true long-range luxury aircraft that brings intercontinental business within reach. 		”

Sim Update X (SU10) (2022-09-20):
  • Corrected an issue that caused the taxi light to not work when starting on apron
  • Changed display logic of reverse transition title on EICAS display to remove flickering of the title during transition

Sim Update VII (SU7) (2021-11-18):

  • Corrected an issue which caused push buttons for lights not to change state when toggled using a key
  • Fixed ITT alarm is ringing and caution message is displayed on PFD while ITT graph and numbers are green on PFD
  • Fixed aural warning related to parking brake cannot be silenced without disengaging the brake

Sim Update VI (SU6) (2021-10-19):

  • Removed some outdated glass cockpit alerts
  • Added missing tooltips for speed mode and speed units knobs
  • Corrected an issue that would cause the aircraft to incorrectly indicate the yaw damper is active
  • Fixed the display of messages when reverse thrust is engaged (moved to EICAS instead of COM/NAV frequencies)
  • Glideslope improvement
  • Corrected an issue which would prevent light controlling push buttons from properly updating when toggling all lights
  • Fixed the Up and Down buttons which were no longer working on the Flight Plan page of the TSC
  • Updated cabin pressure warnings and aircraft configuration with real values
  • Adjusted H NAV PID to reduce nav horizontal oscillation
  • MAIN GEN warning now checks the simvar GENERAL ENG GENERATOR ACTIVE

  • Two new livery sets are available: Aviator Club Xbox and Livery 1

  • Fixed FS Livery disappearing too early on LOD6

  • Corrected an issue which prevented the VS Wheel from working in FLC mode
  • Added Mach display for airspeed target and autopilot when in Mach mode

  • Fixed incorrect fuel tank capacity

  • Fixed aircraft empty weight and center lift

Update 5 (2020-10-29):

  • Known issue: this aircraft can be slightly below the glide slope as you get close to the airport

Patch 1.8.3.0 (2020-09-16):

  • AP altitude and speed management improvements
  • Auto throttle is now inhibited during take off and until 400 feet AGL
