The Orbis Flying Eye Hospital is a wide-body jet aircraft owned by Orbis International. This aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) is a virtual aircraft that's static for ground display only and cannot be flown.

Summary

The Orbis Flying Eye Hospital is a McDonnell Douglas MD-10 that has been highly modified to serve as a mobile surgery and education center for the international promotion of eye health in developing nations. The Orbis MD-10 is the third iteration of the Flying Eye Hospital and entered service in June of 2016. It is the world's only flying eye hospital.

The Flying Eye Hospital includes all systems necessary to perform eye surgery and to educate caregivers in developing countries throughout the world. These include and operating room, sterilization room, and a 46-seat classroom. The aircraft also has its own generators that are deployed from the aircraft and are powered by the aircraft's jet fuel, air conditioning and refrigeration, and water purifiers.
