The Airbus A330, sometimes called the Airbus A330ceo (ceo being an initialism for Current Engine Option), is a wide-body jet airliner manufactured by Airbus. It was developed as a successor to the Airbus A300 in the same project which also produced the Airbus A310.
The Airbus A330 is a medium-size, wide-body aircraft, with two engines that was introduced in 1987. The A330-300 variant has a cruise speed of Mach 0.82, a range of 6,350 nmi (11,760 km), and typically carries 277 passengers. Over 14,00 A330s are in active airline service with over 90 operators.
