Summary
Founded in 1927, the original company name of Cessna was 'Cessna-Roos Aircraft Company' although when Clyde Cessna's partner Victor Roos left the company, the Roos name was dropped and Clyde formed Cessna. Years later, the Cessna brand manufactured the Cessna 172, it became the most popular trainer aircraft in the world, it quickly became a general aviation classic and the top selling aircraft of all time.
